Job summary

Guardian Capital in Hyderabad is seeking an Operations Analyst with a BBA/MBA and at least 1 year of experience to join the team. You will manage daily operations and oversee client onboarding across platforms such as BSE and NSE, while addressing queries and tracking transactions.

The role requires strong English communication, MS Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a commerce background. Certification in NISM is preferred; AMC exposure is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking an Operations Analyst with a BBA/MBA and at least 1 year of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring daily operations, ensuring efficient client onboarding across platforms such as BSE and NSE, addressing client queries, tracking transaction statuses, preparing and sharing reports, and managing physical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to use formulas, and working knowledge of MS PowerPoint.
• Must have a commerce background; an MBA in Finance or a related field is preferred.
• NISM Mutual Fund Distributor Certification is preferred. Candidates who do not hold the certification but are willing to obtain it after joining are also welcome to apply.
• Experience working with an Asset Management Company (AMC) would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Mutual Fund schemes and related financial products is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Pillar 1: Operational Efficiency

• Handle and monitor day-to-day operations, including client onboarding across platforms such as BSE and NSE.
• Address client queries and track transaction statuses to ensure timely resolution.
• Manage physical documentation and ensure the accuracy and completeness of operational records.
• Prepare and share reports as required by internal teams.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams to minimise complaints and ensure prompt resolution of operational issues.
• Collect and analyse Mutual Fund data as required by the team.
• Maintain a tracker of operational action items and follow up with relevant teams to ensure timely completion.
• Independently coordinate with various Asset Management Companies (AMCs) to resolve queries and operational issues.
• Support the evaluation and analysis of Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and other financial products.

Pillar 4: Reporting and Data Management

• Update databases monthly and ensure the timely preparation and distribution of reports.
• Prepare quarterly Mutual Fund research reports.
• Update product values, factsheets, and related reports on a weekly and monthly basis, as applicable.

Salary: ₹5–7 LPA (fixed), depending on experience and suitability.

Work Mode: Work from office, 5 days a week.
