Job summary

Gravita India Ltd in Chittoor is seeking an experienced Operations Associate to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes at the Chittoor-Mfg facility. You will drive efficiency using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen while coordinating raw material planning and ensuring smooth inventory flow.

The role emphasizes product quality, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with QA, maintenance teams, and production staff to foster safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Manage raw material planning and inventory to reduce waste and ensure timely availability.
• Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance through QA collaboration and root cause analysis.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and machine efficiency in coordination with the engineering team.
• Analyse production data and generate reports using ERP/MES systems to track KPIs and OEE.
• Supervise and train production staff while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
