Job summary

Gravita India Ltd., a leader in recycling with global footprint, seeks a Manager / Sr Manager- Procurement Copper Scrap - Imports to lead and scale copper scrap imports sourcing. You will steer end-to-end procurement, negotiate contracts, and manage logistics to ensure compliant, sustainable supply.

The role requires 8–10 years in import procurement (copper scrap) and 15–20 years in copper manufacturing/recycling, with 5 years in leadership. Flexible relocation to Mundra/Baroda or Jaipur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical / metallurgical / mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• Candidates from IITs, IIMs, or other premium institutes will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global copper scrap procurement strategies, primarily focused on imports.
• Lead price negotiations, contracts, and supply risk mitigation
• Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs, environmental, Basel Convention norms, and destination country regulations.
• Identify and build long-term relationships with international suppliers, traders, recyclers, and aggregators across key sourcing geographies.
• Manage end-to-end import procurement operations including supplier selection, contract finalization, shipment planning, and logistics coordination.
• Track global copper scrap prices, freight, and market trends

Key Responsibilities
