Job Summary

Manages outsourced manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality. Coordinates between internal teams and external partners to optimize production processes.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• This role is responsible for supporting & driving the optimization of the industrial process at the respective manufacturing partner
• Responsible for coordinating engineering & improvement projects through partner resources to meet operational and cost improvement objectives
• Provide direction and guidance with partners to improve industrial capacity, cost, and quality through troubleshooting, root- cause analysis and improvement projects.
• Supports implementation and continuous improvement of standard production system
• Scopes, co-develops and coordinates complexity engineering & improvement projects with manufacturing partner
• Responsible to monitor operational performance, Signal and advise on improvement area’s.
• Drives fast, effective root cause problem solving by EMS/CMS for output & quality issues+ escalation
• Reviews design and documentation criteria to ensure it meets project specifications
• Leads, performs, and or advises on advanced technical analysis and feasibility studies for project scope, costs, and benefits
• Drives maturity improvement of EMS / CMS and ensure fast issue resolution
• Coordinates together with SAM (CT) actions regarding MVA or BOM cost improvement objectives, and monitor related actions on the ground.
• Drives Drive quality issue resolution at EMS/CMS
• Supports implementation and continuous improvement of standard production system collaborating with other mftg teams
• Provides DFM feedback to NPI/ Industrialization team
• Oversees daily outsourced manufacturing activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Coordinates with external vendors to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and company policies.
• Monitors performance metrics and implements improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborates with internal departments to align outsourced operations with overall manufacturing goals.
• Manages budgets and controls costs related to outsourced production activities.
• Ensures adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in outsourced facilities.
• Leads problem-solving initiatives to address operational challenges and mitigate risks.

Critical Experiences

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, providing foundational knowledge in manufacturing processes and systems optimization.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations management or industrial process optimization, with proven expertise in coordinating engineering projects, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within outsourced or partner manufacturing environments.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), or equivalent process improvement methodologies is essential to effectively lead quality and operational excellence projects.
