Job summary

Hire Pilots in Mumbai seeks an experienced Operations Head to oversee end-to-end manufacturing, supply chain, production planning, quality and logistics. The role requires 10–18 years of experience in Pharma/Medical devices and a strong track record in process excellence.

The ideal candidate will drive operational strategies, lead large teams, ensure GMP/ISO/FDA compliance, and optimize costs while delivering sustainable growth for the organization.

Qualifications

• 10–18 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Plant Operations.
• Mandatory experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Medical Instruments industry.
• Proven experience in leading large cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, inventory control, and quality systems.
• Experience in driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance including GMP, ISO, FDA, or equivalent quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end operations including Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, and Quality functions.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
• Ensure smooth coordination between Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other cross-functional teams.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement action plans to achieve business objectives.
• Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, FDA, and other applicable regulatory and quality standards.
• Optimize inventory management, production planning, and resource utilization.
• Lead capacity planning, demand forecasting, and operational budgeting.
• Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operations teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support business expansion and operational excellence.
• Prepare and present operational reports, performance dashboards, and business reviews to management.

Job Summary
