Job summary

SFS Pharma Logistics is seeking a logistics professional to manage import/export and air-freight shipments from Navi Mumbai. The role requires coordinating with airlines, transporters, customs brokers, and overseas agents, while ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates to customers.

Ideal candidates have a graduate degree, good English, and strong MS Office/Internet skills; freshers with a positive attitude are welcome.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Preferably female candidates residing in Navi Mumbai/Thane.
• Good command of English; knowledge of local language helpful.
• Flexible to work at odd hours; good interpersonal skills.
• 2 years of experience in international air-freight forwarding with knowledge of air freight, shipping documentation and customer service; freshers may qualify with basic skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Shipment coordination: manage import, export, air-freight and domestic shipments.
• Documentation: prepare and verify PODs/AWBs/Checklists/INV & PLs and other shipping docs.
• Liners/Transporters/Overseas and IATA agents/Vendors coordination: liaise with airlines, transporters, customs brokers, packaging suppliers and overseas agents.
• Customer service: provide shipment updates and resolve operational issues.
• Cost control/pricing: verify freight rates, vendor invoices, operational expenses and profitability; provide quotations to customers.
• Compliance: ensure adherence to SOPs, customs regulations, dangerous goods requirements, Airlines’ requirements and other regulatory requirements.
• Reporting: maintain MIS reports covering shipment volumes, delays and service performance.

Eligibility:

Female Candidate is preferable with their residence in Navi Mumbai/Thane

Education- Graduate in any discipline

Good communication skills with proficiency in English language and knowledge of local language will

be value added

Flexible to work at odd times & Good Interpersonal skills

Working experience of around 02 yrs in International Air-freight forwarding with knowledge of air

freight + shipping documentation + customer service. Freshers may qualify too with basic skills +

positive attitude and ready to learn new things

A Good practical knowledge of MS-Office & She must be Internet savvy

Key Responsibilities:
