  • Oversee CCTV and security systems, including maintenance and upgrades.

Job description

1. Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule security personnel to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts.
  • Monitor daily security operations and staff performance, providing coaching and corrective actions as required.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, vigilance, and customer service among security personnel.
2. Access Control & Facility Security
  • Oversee the management of entry and exit points, visitor registration systems, and parking facilities.
  • Ensure strict access control measures are maintained throughout the hospital premises.
  • Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted and sensitive areas, including ICUs, pharmacies, operation theaters, pediatric wards, and other critical departments.
3. Emergency Response & Crisis Management
  • Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, disruptive behavior, medical emergencies, fire alarms, and other critical events.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review emergency preparedness, evacuation, and disaster management plans.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external emergency services during crisis situations.
4. Policy Compliance & Risk Management
  • Develop, update, and enforce security policies and safety protocols in compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and facility safety audits.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.
5. Incident Management & External Liaison
  • Review, investigate, and approve incident reports, ensuring timely documentation and corrective action.
  • Maintain records of security incidents, investigations, and preventive measures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the hospital and law enforcement agencies, including local police and emergency authorities.
  • Support legal proceedings and investigations when required.
6. Security Systems & Surveillance
  • Oversee the effective operation of CCTV systems, access control systems, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
  • Ensure routine inspections, maintenance, and upgrades of security equipment.
  • Analyze security data and surveillance footage to identify trends and potential threats.
7. Patient, Staff & Asset Protection
  • Ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, employees, and hospital assets.
  • Develop measures to minimize theft, vandalism, workplace violence, and other security risks.
  • Promote a safe and secure environment that supports high-quality patient care.
Preferred candidate profile
  • Experience: 15 to 20 years in security management, with past work in hospitals or large facilities preferred.
  • Education: A Graduate in security, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • Core Skills: Calm under stress, strong leadership, clear report writing, and conflict de-escalation.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of safety laws, fire codes, and healthcare privacy
