Educational Qualification: -
(Academic / Technical):
Graduate in any discipline; Degree/Diploma in Security Management, Industrial Security, Defense Studies, or Administration preferred.
Retired Armed Forces, Paramilitary, Police Officer, or candidates with 12–18 years of experience in integrated township, commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, SEZ, or IT campus security will be preferred.
Work experience (in years): 15- 20 years

Roles and Responsibilities: -
1. Security Operations Management
- Lead the overall security operations of the township and multiple residential, commercial, office, and retail properties.
- Ensure round-the-clock security coverage through efficient deployment of manpower and resources.
- Develop, implement, and monitor security strategies, SOPs, post orders, emergency response plans, and security policies.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Ensure effective access control, visitor management, material movement, vehicle management, and gate operations.
- Maintain a prominent level of discipline, alertness, and operational readiness across all security personnel.
2. Physical Security & Asset Protection
- Protect life, property, equipment, critical infrastructure, and company assets from theft, vandalism, trespassing, sabotage, and unauthorized access.
- Monitor security arrangements for clubhouses, amenities, parking areas, utilities, engineering installations, warehouses, and common areas.
- Develop security plans for high-value assets and critical utility installations including STP, WTP, Electrical Substations, DG Rooms, Pump Houses, Control Rooms, and Data Rooms.
- Conduct regular patrols and surprise inspections to ensure compliance with security standards.
3. Command Centre & Electronic Security Systems
- Manage and monitor CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems, Boom Barriers, RFID Systems, Video Analytics, Intrusion Detection Systems, Public Address Systems, Visitor Management Systems, and other electronic security solutions.
- Ensure all electronic security systems remain operational with minimum downtime.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and AMC management for all security systems.
- Promote digitalization and technology-driven security solutions.
4. Emergency Response & Crisis Management
- Lead emergency response during fire, medical emergencies, natural disasters, civil disturbances, accidents, security breaches, and business continuity events.
- Prepare Emergency Response Plans (ERP), Disaster Management Plans (DMP), and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
- Conduct mock drills, evacuation exercises, tabletop exercises, and emergency preparedness training.
- Coordinate with Fire Department, Police, Disaster Management Authorities, Ambulance Services, Hospitals, and other emergency agencies.
5. Investigation & Incident Management
- Investigate security incidents, thefts, frauds, accidents, misconduct, and policy violations.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and submit management MIS with recommendations.
- Preserve evidence and coordinate with law enforcement authorities wherever required.
6. Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage outsourced security agencies and ensure contractual compliance.
- Monitor SLA performance, attendance, deployment, grooming, training, and discipline of security personnel.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and recommend improvements.
- Verify contractor bills, manpower deployment, statutory compliance, and service quality.
7. Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, mentor, and develop Security Officers, Supervisors, Control Room Operators, Quick Response Teams, and Security Guards.
- Prepare manpower deployment plans, duty rosters, leave planning, and shift schedules.
- Conduct induction programs, refresher training, firefighting training, emergency response training, first aid awareness, and customer service programs.
- Monitor productivity, performance, and discipline of all security personnel.
8. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act (PSARA), labour laws, fire safety regulations, local police requirements, and company security policies.
- Maintain all statutory records, deployment registers, attendance records, visitor logs, gate passes, incident registers, and training records.
- Coordinate statutory inspections and regulatory audits. Co-ordination with Police Authorities for all related matters.
9. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Attend meetings with management, resident associations, society committees, clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
- Address security-related escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Build strong relationships with local Police, Fire Department, Traffic Police, Municipal Authorities, and Disaster Management teams.
- Represent the organization during VIP visits, audits, inspections, and public events.
10. Budget & Cost Management
- Prepare annual security budgets and monitor expenditure.
- Optimize manpower deployment while maintaining desired security standards.
- Control operating costs related to manpower, equipment, uniforms, surveillance systems, and consumables.
- Recommend cost-effective technology solutions to enhance security operations.
11. Event & VIP Security Management
- Plan and execute security arrangements for festivals, public gatherings, AGM meetings, society elections, launches, marketing events, cultural programs, and VIP visits.
- Prepare event-specific security deployment plans, traffic management plans, and emergency response arrangements.
- Coordinate with local authorities for permissions and additional security requirements.
12. Traffic & Parking Management
- Develop and implement township traffic management plans.
- Ensure smooth vehicle movement, parking discipline, emergency vehicle access, and pedestrian safety.
- Manage visitor parking, contractor vehicle movement, delivery management, and material logistics.
13. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual security reports.
- Maintain deployment records, incident reports, investigation reports, audit reports, Vehicle Management, fit-outs co-ordination, Security risk assessments, and MIS dashboards.
- Maintain updated SOPs, emergency contact lists, security manuals, and site‑specific post instructions.
14. Continuous Improvement
- Continuously improve security processes through benchmarking, technology adoption, audits, and training.
- Recommend automation, AI-based surveillance, analytics, drone surveillance (where applicable), and digital reporting systems.
- Drive customer‑centric security practices while maintaining strict compliance with organizational policies.
- Drive reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and digital transformation initiatives related to CCTV, Security Vigilance, Security Management
- Implement best practices in Security aspect in overall Facilities Management aligned with international standards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead operational excellence initiatives.
- Must be computer savvy (Emails, MS word, excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD (View/Read)).
