Job summary

Ascend Hr Solutions Kolkata is seeking an experienced marketing and export sales professional for ferro alloys, sponge iron and iron ore, based in Kolkata. The role requires 7-12 years of trading and merchant export experience with domestic and international customers across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Africa.

You will identify opportunities, build a robust pipeline, monitor market trends, and drive customer acquisition, retention and market penetration.

• In depth knowledge of marketing of ferro alloys to steel plants and foundries
• To identify various opportunities includingnew customer identification in domestic and international markets for ferro alloys.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities across targeted regions
• Monitor market trends, price movements, demand-supply situation of ferro alloys,
• Drive customer acquisition, retention and market penetration strategy.
• Develop Annual Marketing Plan including sales target and region-wise strategie

Job description

Job Location-Kolkata

Experience: 7-12 years experience in trading and merchant exports of ferro alloys/Sponge Iron/Iron Ore both for domestic and international customers. Should have in-depth knowledge of marketing of ferro alloys/Sponge Iron/Iron Ore to steel plants. Person should have experience in dealing with customers in Asia including China, Middle East, Europe and Africa. Knowledge of export formalities and banking norms for exports is a must.
