PETER FUCHS TECHNOLOGY GROUP (INTERNATIONAL Company) opens its Pirangut (Pune) subsidiary and seeks a Lead Engineer, Production & Manufacturing. The role focuses on manufacturing high-pressure components including accumulators and fuel lines, with CNC milling/turning, ECM, and precision finishing in an IATF 16949 environment.

Candidates hold a mechanical engineering degree with 5+ years CNC experience and knowledge of APQP and SPC.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience with programming and operation of CNC machines (milling, turning).
• Familiarity with quality planning (APQP) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Strong performance orientation and integrity; positive and respectful behavior.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-pressure accumulators and high-pressure fuel lines.
• Machining includes milling, turning, ECM, pipe swaging and bending, autofrettage, and clean room assembly.
• Parts cleaning and cleanliness testing; operate in an IATF 16949 based quality system.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development teams and coordinate with headquarters in Switzerland.

Lead Engineer, Production & Manufacturing (m/f)

In this role you are responsible for the manufacturing of high pressure accumulators and high pressure fuel lines. It includes machining (milling, turning), ECM (electro-chemical machining), pipe swaging, pipe bending, autofrettage (high-pressure pre-stressing), clean room assembly, parts cleaning and cleanliness testing. Manufacturing follows a quality management system that is based on IATF 16949 (automotive quality standard) and is supported by a measurement lab, which is equipped with contour tracer, coordinate measurement machine and microscopes.

As a Production & Manufacturing engineer you are cooperating in cross-functional development core teams and are an important interface to our headquarters in Switzerland.

A potential candidate should have a university degree (Bachelors / Master’s) in mechanical engineering and in minimum 5 years proven experience with programming and operation of CNC machines (milling, turning). He or she is familiar with quality planning (APQP) and with statistical process control.
