Job summary

Sify Technologies Limited is seeking an L1 Proxy Engineer for its Mumbai operations. The role focuses on managing enterprise proxy solutions, monitoring web traffic, applying access policies, and ensuring secure internet usage across the organization.

The candidate will work with security, network, and systems teams to implement and maintain proxy infrastructure, performing regular health checks and upgrades as required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of enterprise proxy technologies.
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, URL filtering and SSL inspection.
• Familiarity with proxy solutions such as Blue Coat, Zscaler or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain enterprise proxy solutions such as Blue Coat, Zscaler, Websense, FortiProxy, etc.
• Monitor proxy traffic logs and generate reports for security monitoring and performance analysis.
• Fine-tune proxy policies and web access rules based on security and compliance needs.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Network, and System teams to enforce secure web access.
• Conduct regular health checks, maintenance, upgrades, and patching of proxy appliances and software.
• Troubleshoot proxy-related connectivity issues and policy conflicts.
• Ensure reliable proxy infrastructure while maintaining security standards.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting steps for proxy infrastructure.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated L1 Proxy Engineerwith experience in managing enterprise proxy solutions and web security infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for supporting proxy systems, monitoring web traffic, implementing access policies, and ensuring secure internet access across the enterprise network.
