Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in security operations or similar role.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to handle escalated alerts, investigate incidents and perform vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with organizational standards and reduce security risks.

Areas of responsibility

Monitoring and Incident Detection-Handle escalated alerts, prevent potential intrusions from third party agents and analyse log correlation to ensure alignment with security standards.

Incident Handling and Analysis-Triage security incidents, handle escalated incidents, assist in performing root cause analysis and prepare reports that adhere to compliance requirements.

Threat Assessment and Analytics-"Perform vulnerability scans, identify threat intelligence feeds, and recommend preventive measures to reduce exposure."

Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance-Coordinate with internal teams on security issues, maintain risk registers and assist during compliance audits.

1. Knowledge about any cloud proxy solutions (Zscaler/iBoss/Forcepoint etc) to deal and support from L1-L3 levels.
2. In depth knowledge about the different policies, rules, and SSL inspection at proxy level.
3. Hands on experience to troubleshoot and resolve any proxy related issues to enable or block the traffic and take a right decision at proxy level.
4. Knowledge about the ITIL processes to deal with incident, service request and change management for proxy services.
5. Good communication skill and client interaction.
