Role Description

The Onsite Project Manager is a full-time role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, responsible for overseeing end-to-end execution of engineering and industrial reliability projects at customer sites. The role involves planning project activities, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely procurement and expediting of materials and equipment. The Onsite Project Manager will manage logistics for deliveries and site mobilization, supervise inspections and quality checks, and track project progress against schedules, budgets, and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include resolving operational issues, maintaining clear documentation and reporting, and supporting customers and field teams to achieve reliable, efficient project outcomes aligned with Minimac’s standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management and Expediting experience in industrial or engineering projects.
• Candidates should possess expeditor and expediting coordination skills for tracking procurement, vendor follow-ups, and material readiness.
• Candidates should possess inspection-related skills, including Inspection planning, quality checks, and compliance with technical specifications and safety norms.
• Candidates should possess logistics management skills for coordinating shipments, site deliveries, and on-site resource allocation.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or related field) or an equivalent technical discipline are preferred.
• Experience in industrial reliability, oil and lubricant systems, rotating equipment, or similar engineering environments is beneficial.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in project documentation and reporting tools.
• Ability to work on-site in industrial settings, manage multiple tasks under time constraints, and uphold safety and quality standards.
