Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Audio/Video Support Technician in Chennai to set up and troubleshoot conference spaces, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure high-quality event experiences for clients. The role includes equipment cleaning, documentation, and collaboration with teams while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of AV support experience, a background in Electronics or related field, and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown of conference spaces to meet event needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maintain customer spaces.
• Clean AV equipment including cameras, monitors and fans.
• Complete site documentation as needed.
• Provide timely, quality support tasks.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams reflecting AVI-SPL values.
• Provide client training as needed.
• Adhere to local safety standards for site duties.
• Set up and troubleshoot audio/video systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Day-To-Day Responsibilities

• Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs
• Perform preventative maintenance task to help maintain customer spaces
• Clean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and
• equipment fans.
• Responsible for job site documentation as needed
• Perform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner
• Work with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL
• Provide client training as needed
• Adhere to and understand local safety standards for all site duties
• Setup and troubleshoot various audio/video systems.
