Job summary

Capgemini seeks an OMP/OPAL Consultant with 5-8 years of experience to design, configure, and implement end-to-end supply chain planning solutions using OMP Unison Planning.

You will bridge business requirements with technical capabilities, model networks, and develop dashboards while ensuring smooth integration with SAP and other systems using OPAL scripting.

Qualifications

• Design and configure OMP Unison Planning applications (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Scheduling) to meet business needs.
• Model networks and create a telescopic digital twin to synchronize planning functions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs, develop workbooks and dashboards, and test Unison features.
• Set up solvers, ADM rules, and control tables to improve planning analytics.

Job Description:

Responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing end-to-end supply chain planning solutions. They bridge the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities within the OMP platform, particularly focusing on demand planning, supply planning, and scheduling.

The OMP Consultant should leverage Unison Planning of OMP, this role involves configuring OMP modules, optimizing planning workflows, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems (like SAP), should know the OPAL language.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration: Design and configure OMP Unison Planning applications (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Scheduling, and Transportation) to meet specific business needs.

Unison Planning Expertise: Utilize OMP's Unison Planning concept, including modelling the network and creating a telescopic digital twin to synchronize planning functions.

Solution Design & Testing: Translate business requirements into functional specs, develop workbooks, dashboards, and task flows, and perform testing of Unison functionality.

Data Modeling: Set up solvers, ADM (Advanced Decision Making) rules, and control tables to improve planning analytics.
