Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an OMP/OPAL Consultant with 5-8 years of experience to design and implement end-to-end supply chain planning solutions.

You will configure OMP Unison Planning modules, model networks, create telescopic digital twins to synchronize planning functions, and ensure seamless SAP integration.

Knowledge of OPAL scripting, OS platforms (Linux/Windows), and databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server) is required to translate business needs into robust planning solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end supply chain planning solutions.
• Experience with OMP Unison Planning and OPAL language.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specs for planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration: Design and configure OMP Unison Planning applications (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Scheduling, and Transportation) to meet specific business needs.
• Unison Planning Expertise: Utilize OMP's Unison Planning concept, including modelling the network and creating a telescopic digital twin to synchronize planning functions.
• Solution Design & Testing: Translate business requirements into functional specs, develop workbooks, dashboards, and task flows, and perform testing of Unison functionality.
• Data Modeling: Set up solvers, ADM (Advanced Decision Making) rules, and control tables to improve planning analytics.
• Middleware knowledge on - OS: Linux & Windows Server, DB: Oracle & MS SQLServer, Primary Language: OPAL
• OPAL is a proprietary scripting language owned by OM Partners

Job Description:

Responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing end-to-end supply chain planning solutions. They bridge the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities within the OMP platform, particularly focusing on demand planning, supply planning, and scheduling.

The OMP Consultant should leverage Unison Planning of OMP, this role involves configuring OMP modules, optimizing planning workflows, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems (like SAP), should know the OPAL language.
