Job summary

Hikvision India is seeking an Officer/Sr.Officer-Safety (HSE) to monitor hazardous situations, enforce PPE usage, and drive safety compliance across the Vasai factory complex in Maharashtra. The role involves investigations, emergency response, and leading 5S/6S initiatives with quarterly audits.

The candidate should hold Any Graduate/ Diploma and will coordinate with the HOD for trainings, mock drills, and safety MIS reporting. A strong focus on proactive safety culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
• Close all safety or fire related points and carry out safety practices within the premises.
• Ensure safety and healthy environment in factory premises and minimize risk.
• Ensure all employees are working with proper PPEs and proper tools to avoid accidents/incidents.
• Respond to emergency situations and incidents and provide assistance to employees, visitors, contractors.
• Set alarm to provide alerts during disturbances or emergencies.
• Conduct investigations of accidents, near-misses, and take appropriate action.
• Ensure fire and safety equipment are in working condition and ready to use during emergencies.
• Implement 5S & 6S across Plant, Warehouse and RMA Centre and conduct quarterly audits for compliance.
• Assist HOD in periodic mock drills at the factory premises.
• Assist HOD in internal and external audits and ensure implementation of findings.
• Assist HOD in preparing training modules on Safety, First-Aid and Fire-Fighting and training questionnaires.
• Provide awareness training and orientation on safety topics to new joiners and contractual staff.
• Prepare and submit daily, monthly & quarterly safety reports/MIS to HOD.

• Ensure all employees are working with proper PPE'S & proper tools to avoid the accidents /incidents at the workplace.
• Respond to emergency situations and incidents within designated areas promptly and to provide necessary assistance to employees, visitors, contractors etc.
• Set alarm to provide alert in case there is any form of disturbance or emergency within the environment.
• Conducts investigations of all accidents/ incidents, nearmisses etc. and take the appropriate action.
• Ensuring all fire and safety equipments are in working condition and ready to use during the emergency.
• Implementation of 5S & 6S (Safety) across Plant, Warehouse and RMA Centre and ensure internal / external audit on Quarterly basis to ensure compliance.
• Assist HOD in conducting the periodic mock drills at the factory premises.

• Preparation and submission of daily, monthly & quarterly reports / MIS like safety observation report, accident and incidents report, near miss report, internal investigation report etc.to HOD.
