Job summary

Paras Spices Pvt. Ltd., Moga (PB) is seeking an Officer/Jr. Officer in the EHS department to oversee safety operations at the plant site. The role involves regular inspections of fire safety equipment and maintaining safety documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance and readiness for all plant activities.

The candidate will identify unsafe acts or conditions, drive corrective actions, and conduct periodic audits of safety equipment and permits as per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspection and monitoring of the Fire Pump House, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hydrants and Hose Reels across the plant to ensure full operational readiness.
• Identify and report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions on the production floor, and drive timely closure of corrective actions.
• Monitor and administer the Work Permit System (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Height, etc.) to ensure safe execution of all plant activities.
• Maintain and update all safety-related documentation and formats as per the defined SOPs.
• Carry out periodic safety audits/rounds of fire safety equipment and permit records to ensure compliance with statutory and company safety standards.
