Job summary

RPG Group is seeking a site civil supervisor to coordinate and monitor excavation, foundation, and tower works for transmission projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with design and quality standards while maintaining a safe workplace.

You will organize daily progress, liaise with client engineers, and support the construction manager to ensure successful phase completion. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all stages of installations including access roads, platform works, soil investigation, benching and excavation.
• Oversee foundation works and tower footing protection.
• Manage excavation and foundation activities of his part independently.
• Ensure project is executed per design and concrete mix is used for foundation works.
• Coordinate civil work with construction manager.

Key Accountabilities

Duty Statements

Supervising:

• Supervise all stages of installations like:
  • Access road and platform works
  • Soil investigation works
  • Benching and excavation
  • Foundation (Open tyre and/ or pile tyre)
  • Protection of tower footing (revetment/ retaining wall etc)

Implementation:

• Manage excavation and foundation activities of his part of the project independently
• Ensures that the project is executed according to design and proper concrete mix is used for foundation works
• Manage the civil work along with construction manager
• Maintain safe and healthy environment at site
• Monitor the daily activity of the project
• Organizes the JMC (Joint Measurement Certificate) meeting with client engineer after every phase of the project and helps the commercial manager to raise the construction invoice.
• Responsible for implementation of quality and safety measures at his section
• Generate DPR (Daily progress report as per the format prepared by Construction manager)
