Job summary

RPG Group is seeking a site-based supervisor to manage civil works for transmission projects. You will oversee excavation, foundations, and structural activities, ensuring adherence to design and safety standards.

The role requires coordination with the construction manager and client engineers to maintain progress and quality. Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic civil engineering knowledge relevant to transmission projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all stages of installations including access road, platform works, soil investigation, benching excavations and foundations.
• Ensure concrete mix design is appropriate and project executed per design.
• Coordinate civil works with construction manager and ensure site safety and environment compliance.
• Organize DPRs, site progress, and client meetings; assist commercial team with invoicing.
• Monitor daily activities and ensure quality and safety across the project segment.

Job description

Responsible for project co-ordination at site and take care of documentation control and technical compliance

Key Accountabilities

Duty Statements

Supervising:

• Supervise all stages of installations like:
  • Access road and platform works
  • Soil investigation works
  • Benching and excavation
  • Foundation (Open tyre and/ or pile tyre)
  • Protection of tower footing (revetment/ retaining wall etc)

Implementation:

• Manage excavation and foundation activities of his part of the project independently
• Ensures that the project is executed according to design and proper concrete mix is used for foundation works
• Manage the civil work along with construction manager
• Maintain safe and healthy environment at site
• Monitor the daily activity of the project
• Organizes the JMC (Joint Measurement Certificate) meeting with client engineer after every phase of the project and helps the commercial manager to raise the construction invoice.
• Responsible for implementation of quality and safety measures at his section
• Generate DPR (Daily progress report as per the format prepared by Construction manager)
