Job summary

KEC International Limited, Mumbai-based flagship of the RPG Group, seeks a Site Civil Engineer for on-site project co-ordination and documentation control. Responsibilities include ensuring technical compliance, liaising with construction managers, and overseeing civil works at transmission & distribution sites.

Candidate should have civil engineering knowledge, strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of civil engineering- execution of transmission projects (II)

Responsibilities

Supervise all stages of installations: access road, platform works, soil investigation, benching and excavation
Manage excavation and foundation activities of his part of the project
Ensure execution according to design; proper concrete mix for foundations
Collaborate with construction manager on civil work and safety
Maintain safe and healthy site environment; monitor daily activity
Organize JMC meetings with client engineer and assist commercial team with invoices
Implement quality and safety measures in his section; generate DPR (Daily progress report)

Job Summary :

Responsible for project co-ordination at site and take care of documentation control and technical compliance

Key Accountabilities

Duty Statements

Supervising:

Supervise all stages of installations like:
- Access road and platform works
- Soil investigation works
- Benching and excavation
- Foundation (Open tyre and/ or pile tyre)
- Protection of tower footing (revetment/ retaining wall etc)

Implementation:

Manage excavation and foundation activities of his part of the project independently
Ensures that the project is executed according to design and proper concrete mix is used for foundation works
Manage the civil work along with construction manager
Maintain safe and healthy environment at site
Monitor the daily activity of the project
Organizes the JMC (Joint Measurement Certificate) meeting with client engineer after every phase of the project and helps the commercial manager to raise the construction invoice.
Responsible for implementation of quality and safety measures at his section
Generate DPR (Daily progress report as per the format prepared by Construction manager)
