Job summary

USV is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to oversee daily primary and secondary packaging lines, ensure clean line clearance, and maintain accurate batch records on the shop floor in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India.

Role requires adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines, with IPQC checks such as leak tests and coordination of manpower for daily targets. Maintenance reporting and calibration oversight are also part of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily primary and secondary packaging lines to ensure smooth operations.
• Verify that the packaging area is completely clean and free of prior product remains before a new batch starts.
• Complete Batch Packaging Records (BPR) and logbooks accurately in real-time.
• Strictly adhere to cGMP, safety guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform regular In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) checks like leak tests.
• Assist in assigning operators and workers to different packaging lines based on daily targets.
• Report machine breakdowns and assist the engineering team during product changeovers.
• To manage the manpower at shop floor.
• To ensure PM, calibration of equipment / machines is conducted as per schedule
