Job summary

ideaForge in Navi Mumbai seeks a Junior Safety Officer to assist in implementing EHS programs ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace across manufacturing, R&D, warehouse, and offices. You will conduct inspections, promote safe work practices, and help investigate incidents.

Freshers with safety qualifications may apply; Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred. MS Office knowledge and adherence to safety standards are expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.

• Conduct employee safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Monitor fire safety, emergency preparedness, and contractor safety.
• Ensure safe handling of lithium batteries, chemicals, and electrical equipment.
• Maintain EHS records, reports, and statutory documentation.
• Support compliance with ISO 45001 and applicable safety regulations.
• Prepare and share MIS reports as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or electronics (Freshers with safety qualifications may also apply).
• Knowledge of Factory Act, ISO 45001, HIRA, JSA, PTW, LOTO, and MS Office is preferred.
