Job summary

Ideal candidates will have 3-7 years in an API/bulk drug warehouse with hands-on ERP SAP WM/MM experience and strong documentation discipline. Location: Saykha GIDC, Bharuch, Gujarat.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical warehouse operations (API/bulk drug).
• Education: Any Graduate.
• Proficient with ERP systems in warehouse management (SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials management and dispensing for raw materials, solvents, KSMs, and finished API goods per BPR.
• Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, segregation) for hazardous, flammable, and temperature-sensitive materials.
• Maintain real-time documentation: GRN, dispensing logs, bin cards, logbooks and ensure cGMP compliance.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for sampling, labeling status, and material release.
• Maintain inventory accuracy using ERP, perform cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
• Enforce safety and housekeeping standards and log expired or near-expiry materials.

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Warehouse Officer / Executive to oversee daily material management operations at our API manufacturing facility in Saykha GIDC. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical warehouse operations, strict cGMP compliance, and inventory management. You will be responsible for the safe handling, storage, and dispensing of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods while ensuring full regulatory compliance

Role & responsibilities

Materials Management & Dispensing

• Oversee dispensing operations for raw materials, solvents, and key starting materials (KSM) strictly according to Batch Production Records (BPR).
• Manage the receipt, unloading, qualification, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, engineering items, packing materials, and finished API goods.
• Ensure appropriate storage conditions (temperature, humidity, segregation) for hazardous, flammable, and temperature-sensitive chemicals.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate, real-time documentation including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), dispensing logs, bin cards, and logbooks.
• Ensure 100% compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in internal and external regulatory audits (e.g., WHO, USFDA, EUGMP) by keeping all warehouse documentation trial-ready.

Inventory & Systems Control

• Maintain precise inventory accuracy using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for all material movements.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification, cycle counts, and reconcile variances immediately.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) for sampling, status labeling (Under Test / Approved / Rejected), and material release.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Enforce strict health, safety, and environment (HSE) protocols, ensuring the use of appropriate PPE during material handling and dispensing.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and pest control inside the warehouse premises.
• Safely handle and log expired, rejected, or near-expiry materials following environmental guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Industry Expertise: Mandatory experience in an API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) or bulk drug manufacturing warehouse.
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with ERP software (specifically SAP WM/MM modules) is highly preferred.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of cGMP, data integrity principles, and cleanroom classifications.
• Core Skills: Strong numerical capability, analytical thinking, material tracking skills, and a high attention to detail.
