Job summary

Supreme in Neemrana, Rajasthan, seeks an experienced Production engineer for plastic injection moulding. You will drive safe, efficient and continuous production, optimise processes, and achieve targets while controlling costs.

The role requires 4 years of relevant experience, with a focus on injection moulding, process troubleshooting and manpower handling in a manufacturing setup.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Plastic Mould Technology or diploma in plastics technology or equivalent.
• Preferred BE/BTech in plastics, mechanical, production or related engineering.
• Experience in injection moulding and mould change processes is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimize injection moulding machines.
• Monitor cycle time, machine efficiency, production targets and rejects.
• Troubleshoot moulding defects and process issues.
• Carry out mould changes and ensure proper setup.
• Maintain production records and process parameters.
• Coordinate with Tool Room and Maintenance for issues.
• Ensure safety, quality and 5S compliance.

2. Job Purpose

To ensuresafe, efficient and continuous production of plastic components throughinjection moulding while achieving production targets, maintaining productquality, optimizing machine/process performance and controlling productioncosts.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and optimizeinjection moulding machines.
• Monitor and control cycletime, machine efficiency, productivity and rejection.
• Troubleshoot mouldingdefects and process-related issues.
• Carry out mould change andensure proper machine and mould setup.
• Monitor production againstdaily/monthly production plans and targets.
• Handle and allocate manpowereffectively as per production requirements.
• Coordinate with Tool Roomfor mould-related issues and breakdowns.
• Coordinate with Maintenancefor machine breakdowns and technical issues.
• Ensure proper handling anduse of raw materials and production resources.
• Maintain production records,process parameters and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance withsafety, quality and 5S requirements.
• Identify opportunities forprocess improvement, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

5. Educational Qualification

• Diploma in Plastic MouldTechnology (DPMT) / Diploma in Plastics Technology / relevant technicalqualification.

Preferred

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech inPlastics, Mechanical, Production or relevant engineering discipline.
