Job summary

Supreme Mawar Unit in Kanpur Dehat seeks an Officer to oversee daily shift operations in the compounding and grinding sections, ensuring high-quality compound and testing while preventing contamination.

You will optimize machine utilization, lead a small shift team, coordinate maintenance, ensure 5S and safety, and maintain accurate shift logs and production records. Essential: Diploma in Plastics Technology; 2–4 years’ experience in plastics processing; exposure to PLC/SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• Essential: Diploma in Plastics Technology.
• Preferred: Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications.
• Experience in plastics/polymer processing, mixing, compounding and grinding.
• Knowledge of PLC-based systems and temperature control.

Responsibilities

• Shift Management: Plan daily compounding and grinding schedules to meet volume targets.
• Process Monitoring: Control SOPs for mixing temperatures and grinding parameters.
• Material Optimization: Minimize scrap during blending and regrinding.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve machinery jams and variances in real time.
• Team Leadership: Allocate manpower across blending and grinding stations.
• Maintenance Coordination: Report faults to minimize downtime.
• 5S & Safety: Maintain 5S and safety during the shift.
• Documentation: Maintain shift logs and production records.
• Compliance & Governance: Adhere to policies and assist audits.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to oversee and manage the daily shiftoperations of the compounding and grinding sections , ensuringto make good quality compound, compound Testing and also grinding free from anytype of contamination, Increase efficiency of the machines & Man withoptimum utilization & follow the 6s.

Key Responsibilities

· Shift Management : Plan daily compounding andgrinding schedules to meet volume targets.

· Process Monitoring : Control & follow theSOP mixing temperatures, grinding parameters.

· Material Optimization : Minimizecompound or chemical rejection during compound blending and scrap regrindingstages.

· Troubleshooting : Resolve real-timemachinery jams, throughput drops, and compounding formulation variancesimmediately.

· Team Leadership : Allocate manpower acrossblending and grinding stations during the shift.

· Maintenance Coordination : Reportmechanical or electrical faults to engineering teams to minimize downtime.

· 5S & Safety : Maintain department 5s andSafety during the shift

· Documentation : Maintain accurate shift logs, batchproduction records (BPR), and material reconciliation sheets.
