Job summary

Faurecia in Pune is seeking an NVH simulation engineer to perform pre-processing, setup simulations, and post-processing to support product development.

You will prepare technical reports, present findings to the development team, validate designs against NVH targets, and contribute to training and process improvements.

• Prepare technical reports and present findings to the development team.
• Support NVH design considerations and validate against NVH targets.
• Provide simulation results for measurement and testing; update NVH simulations.

Job description

Overall responsibilities and duties:

• Nil
• Carry out pre-processing, simulation setup, post-processing & report preparation as per the requirement
• Technical report preparation and presentation to development team
• Support draft of the design considering NVH
• Validate the design for NVH targets
• Work actively in the extended product development core team
• Support and provide simulation results for measurement and testing & update the NVH simulation based on measurement and test results
• Provide design solutions and recommendations for development of exhaust designs from acoustics perspective
• Maintain, track quality & on time delivery metrics for all work requests of self
• Quality review of the simulations executed by NVH engineers
• Identify and share the lessons learned and best practicesSupport in preparation of training plan, execute trainings, measure effectiveness
• Prioritizing quality and delivery failures, performing Line QRCI to identify root causes
• Preparing preventive and corrective actions plan to address the root causes derived from Line QRCi
