Job summary

Intelizign Lifecycle Services in Chennai seeks an NVH - Product Design and Development engineer focused on interior insulation components. You will design and develop components like dash insulations and silencers, using UG NX and CATIA V5/V6 within Teamcenter PLM environments.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in automotive interior insulation design, strong manufacturing feasibility knowledge, and excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in NVH and product design for automotive interior insulation components.
• Proficient in UG NX modeling and Teamcenter/PLM workflows.
• Strong CATIA V5/V6 skills and experience with manufacturing feasibility studies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop NVH interior insulation components (dash inner/outer, hood silencer, fender blocker and stuffer silencer).
• Perform component and system level design across automotive interiors.
• Lead modeling in UG NX and CATIA V5/V6; ensure compatibility with Teamcenter PLM workflows.
• Support manufacturing feasibility studies and validation activities, including NVH testing using LMS data acquisition.
• Communicate design intent effectively and present design reviews.

Position: NVH - Product Design and Development (UGNX, CATIA)

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Required Education: B.E./B.Tech or M.E/ M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Industrial Engineering (Full time only)

Relevant Experience: NVH: Interior Insulation components (Dash inner, Dash outer silencer, Hood silencer, Fender blocker and Stuffer silencer part)

Required Experience :

• Product Design & development experience in automotive Interior Insulation components (Dash inner, Dash outer silencer, Hood silencer, Fender blocker and Stuffer silencer part)
• Working experience in Component & System level designing.
• Expertise in UG NX modeling + Team Center, PLM + CATIA V5\V6
• Good Knowledge in Manufacturing & Assembly feasibility study
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• NVH vehicle level testing and validation experience using LMS data acquisition system
• Design and modeling of interior insulation components.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of Team Center (UG NX) and CATIA V5/V6 tools
