Position: Senior Manager (L5) – Digital Solutions (NVH Simulation) Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India

Position Summary

Lead NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) digital validation activities for vehicle platforms/variants, ensuring robust design, optimized performance, and timely delivery of project milestones. This role is critical to enabling digital processes within the product development cycle and maintaining seamless coordination between CAE, design, and testing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Management & Delivery
• Plan, manage, and execute NVH digital validation activities.
• Allocate resources, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Deliver high-quality, optimized designs using advanced simulation techniques.
• Provide simulation-based risk assessment and design solutions.
• Support physical validation investigations with in-depth technical analysis.
• Technology Roadmap & Process Development
• Identify department needs and maximize benefits from available tools.
• Develop methods and processes aligned with the technology roadmap.
• Conduct pilot projects to showcase new capabilities.
• Drive automation for productionizing advanced processes.
• People Management
• Mentor and coach NVH project teams.
• Liaise with NVH Testing, NVH PAT, CE, and COC ODC teams.

Education

• Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

Experience & Skills

• 3+ years in automotive NVH evaluation and optimization using digital and experimental techniques.
• Expertise in FEM, BEM, SEA, MBD, 1D tools (e.g., NASTRAN, Hyperworks, AVL Excite, Simcenter, GT Power, VA1).
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (Body, Powertrain, Suspension, Cooling, Steering, Sound Pack).
• Proficient in material science, vehicle packaging, and product development processes.
• Skilled in NVH target setting, root cause analysis, and performance benchmarking.
