Job summary

Expleo is seeking an NVH Performance Engineer - Testing to lead NVH data acquisition, testing and analysis for automotive programs. You will work hands-on on validation tracks, public roads and anechoic chambers to ensure NVH targets are met and regulatory requirements are satisfied.

The role requires 3–6 years in automotive NVH, strong data analysis skills and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to drive root-cause resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven NVH test data acquisition and post-processing skills.
• Experience with automotive NVH function, acoustic package and KPIs.
• Hands-on vehicle NVH testing on track/roads/aneco chamber.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NVH data collection and post-processing using LMS, FFT and head acoustics tools.
• Evaluate vehicle NVH performance against KPIs and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve NVH issues.

Overview

NVH Performance Engineer - Testing

Responsibilities

• Thorough understanding in NVH test data acquisition, post-processing and knowledge of test tools like LMS data acquisition system, FFT analyzer, Head acoustics etc.
• Good understanding of automotive full vehicle NVH function/science, acoustic package, NVH treatments, functional objectives and KPIs.
• Experience and knowledge on vehicle subjective evaluations from customer standpoint and its correlation with objective data/physical test measurements.
• Hands-on experience of vehicle NVH testing (ICE/BEV) on validation tracks, public roads and in anechoic chamber.
• Thorough knowledge of NVH DVPs including mainly powertrain noise and vibrations under WOT/POT driving conditions, road noise, Idle vibrations/noise, HVAC noise, wind noise, Electro‑mechanical noise etc.
• Experience of conducting vehicle regulatory compliance development tests including mainly pass‑by‑noise (ECE R 51.03) and AVAS (ECE R 138) requirements.
• Exposure to advance tools, techniques and practices in NVH automotive applications.
• Experience on vehicle & sub‑system/component level NVH testing & field issue resolution.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem‑solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle development and product life cycle.
• Proactive in product development discussions with suppliers and cross functional teams.
• Must hold a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant CAE experience in automotive or related industries.
• Familiarity with other durability, dynamics, or optimization tools will be an added advantage.
