Purpose of the role
NVH and Durability performance deliver for all commercial mobility projects.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to
- Responsible for vehicle NVH and Durability performance delivery and meeting project objectives and customer expectations
- Responsible for setting and meeting NVH targets of different projects
- Perform standard and custom component & system-level tests such as FRF, modal analysis, transient response to determine dynamic characteristics
- Work collaboratively with attribute, testing, designers, and product teams to enhance the NVH predictability and play a vital role in NVH performance
- Contribute the solutions of the NVH issue through analytical calculations and testing
- Strong fundamental knowledge on Strength of Materials, Theory of Vibrations and Machine design
- Exposure to software tools like Altair Hyper Mesh/ Optistruct/ ANSYS/Nastran/FEMFAT
- Prior work experience in Durability Analysis using any of the commercially available software.
- Deliver optimum engineering solutions with successful and timely resolution of issues
Required Skill Set
- Prior experience in NVH testing and data analysis of
- Prior experience in Electric Vehicle NVH development
- Good Knowledge in vibration, acoustics, and dynamics
- Good knowledge engine, chassis, and sound.
- Delivery of NVH full vehicle solutions from benchmarking, targets setting through development and verification.
- Work experience of carrying out Static and Dynamic analysis using commercially available FE softwares
- Understanding of fatigue basics
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art NVH development techniques including latest hardware and software development tools.
- Knowledge in instrumentation and control systems
- Excellent root cause and problem-solving skills in automotive NVH
- Work experience of finite element analysis
- Knowledge of LMS Test.Lab, HEAD ArtemiS
- Exposure to software tools like ANSYS/Altair/Nastran
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Creative, keep interest in taking challenge and pressure.
- Knowledge of basics of Vibration and Acoustics.
Educational Profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited mechanical engineering with 6-8 years of experience or Master’s degree with 5-6 years of experience.
