Job summary

GigaCare Health Services Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations across multiple corporate client sites.

You will ensure clinical quality, staff performance, compliance, and emergency readiness while coordinating with doctors, ambulance teams, and client stakeholders. You will travel regularly across Chennai locations, supervise nursing staff, review service delivery, and mentor teams to maintain high standards in occupational healthcare

Qualifications

• GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
• 5+ years of nursing experience with supervisory experience.
• Experience in Occupational Health Centres (OHCs), corporate healthcare, emergency care, hospitals, or multi-site healthcare operations will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of nursing standards, emergency protocols, infection control, and clinical documentation.
• Willingness to travel regularly across client locations in Chennai.

Responsibilities

• Nursing Operations & Supervision: Supervise nursing staff deployed across multiple client locations; conduct site visits to review service quality and readiness; monitor attendance, shift adherence, grooming, and staff performance; coordinate rosters, leave coverage, relievers, and replacements; mentor nurses.
• Clinical Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to SOPs, infection-control practices, and workplace healthcare protocols; maintain medical records and documentation; conduct audits and close observations; manage inventory and stock reconciliation; ensure equipment is functional and emergency-ready; train teams for emergencies.
• Client & Team Coordination: Coordinate with client representatives, doctors, ambulance teams, vendors, and operations; address site concerns and escalate as needed; participate in client reviews and reporting; support new OHC implementations.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations across GigaCare-managed corporate healthcare sites in Chennai.

The Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring clinical quality, staff performance, operational compliance, emergency preparedness, and consistent service delivery across assigned client locations. The role requires regular interaction with nursing teams, doctors, GigaCare operations teams, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Nursing Operations & Supervision

• Supervise nursing staff deployed across multiple client locations.


• Conduct regular site visits to review service quality and operational readiness.


• Monitor attendance, shift adherence, grooming, discipline, and staff performance.


• Coordinate rosters, leave coverage, relievers, and manpower replacements.


• Mentor and support nurses in their day-to-day clinical responsibilities.

Clinical Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to clinical SOPs, infection-control practices, and workplace healthcare protocols.


• Monitor maintenance of medical records, registers, checklists, and statutory documentation.


• Conduct periodic clinical and operational audits and ensure timely closure of observations.


• Monitor medicine and consumable inventory, expiry management, and stock reconciliation.


• Ensure medical equipment is maintained and emergency equipment is functional and readily available.


• Ensure nursing teams are trained and prepared to respond to workplace medical emergencies.


• Conduct/refresher training on BLS, first aid, emergency response, and relevant clinical protocols.


• Review medical incidents and support root-cause analysis and CAPA implementation.

Client & Team Coordination

• Coordinate with client representatives, doctors, ambulance teams, vendors, and GigaCare operations teams.


• Address site-level operational concerns and ensure timely resolution and escalation.


• Participate in client reviews and provide required operational and clinical reports.


• Support implementation of new OHCs and healthcare services when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.


• 5+ years of nursing experience, with supervisory/team-handling experience preferred.


• Experience in Occupational Health Centres (OHCs), corporate healthcare, emergency care, hospitals, or multi-site healthcare operations will be an advantage.


• Good understanding of nursing standards, emergency protocols, infection control, and clinical documentation.


• Strong communication, team-management, and problem-solving skills.


• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and basic reporting.


• Willingness to travel regularly across client locations in Chennai.
