Job summary

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for end-to-end New Product Development (NPD), including product design, prototype development, plastic component development, injection moulding trials, electronics development, PCB/PCBA testing, and packaging design. Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for material selection, BOM preparation, product costing, sampling, testing, quality validation, and cost optimisation. Identify and resolve technical issues, ensure compliance with product specifications and applicable safety standards, maintain technical documentation, manage development timelines, and support pilot production and smooth handover of new products to mass production.

Preferred candidate profile

The preferred candidate should have 28 years of experience in New Product Development (NPD), preferably in the toys manufacturing, plastic moulding, electronics, mobile accessories, or packaging industry. Candidates should possess a Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Plastic, Polymer, Electronics, Electrical, Production Engineering, or Packaging Technology. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, product development and testing experience, vendor coordination skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of product costing, quality standards, and mass production processes.
