Job summary

Selective Global Search in Bengaluru seeks a Design Manager to lead CAD development and mold design for injection molding products. You will drive 3D modeling, 2D drawings, tool design, and ensure manufacturability and compliance with customer specs.

With 12–15 years of experience, you will oversee pharma regulatory designs such as diabetic pens and nasal sprays, and guide ISBM/EBM/IBM bottle projects, while coordinating timelines and design reviews for multiple programs.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of relevant design management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Injection Molding product design and process knowledge.
• Exposure to pharma regulatory products such as Diabetic Pen, Nasal Spray, Disposable Syringe, Tablet dispenser.
• Knowledge of ISBM/EBM/IBM bottles and containers.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with design for manufacturability.
• Lead injection molding product design and mold/tool design.
• Ensure designs meet customer specs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead reverse engineering initiatives for new product development and improvements.
• Plan and manage design activities to meet project timelines.

Qualification: Diploma, Post Diploma in Designing from NTTF, GTTC, CIPET, Btech-Mech,/Mtech-Mech

Rolls and Resposcibility

• 1)Develop 3D CAD models, 2D engineering drawings, and mold/tool designs with a strong focus on accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability.
• 2)Demonstrate handson experience in Injection Molding (IMM) product design & Process knowledge, particularly in:
  • a) Pharma regulatory products such as Diabetic Pen, Nasal Spray ,Disposable Syringe,Tablet dispenser.
  • b) Pump & Despenser products including Trigger Pump, Foamer Pump, Pocket Spray ,Lotion Pump,Trigger Spray.
  • c) Injection Mouding component like-Flip Top cap, CRC cap, Bi injection cap.
  • d) Mold design knowledge.
  • e) Six Sigma, DFMEA and mold flow analysis Knowledge.
  • f) Product Design Knowledge of ISBM,EBM/IBM bottles and containers.
• 3)Ensure all designs comply with customer specifications, applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality procedures.
• 4)Lead and execute reverse engineering initiatives to support new product development and continuous improvement of existing products.
• 5)Plan and manage design activities to ensure timely completion of all design deliverables in line with project schedules.
