Role Overview:

We are looking for a NOC Support Engineer responsible for 24x7 monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support of ISP network infrastructure and enterprise customer links.

The role involves real-time monitoring of network performance, incident detection, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and upstream providers to ensure network uptime and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Monitoring & Incident Management

• Monitor network infrastructure, backbone links, and enterprise customer connectivity using NMS tools
• Detect network outages, packet loss, latency issues, and bandwidth congestion
• Perform Level 1 troubleshooting for network incidents
• Escalate issues as per defined incident management and escalation matrix
• Ensure maximum network uptime and SLA adherence

Network Operations & Troubleshooting

• Monitor Internet Leased Line (ILL), MPLS, VPN, and P2P connectivity
• Diagnose issues related to IP reachability, routing paths, and link stability
• Perform basic routing and connectivity verification
• Coordinate with upstream providers and backbone vendors for link-related issues

Client Support & Communication

• Act as first-line technical support for enterprise customers
• Respond to support tickets and service requests
• Provide regular updates on incident progress and resolution timelines
• Maintain professional communication with enterprise clients during outages

Vendor & Field Coordination

• Coordinate with fiber vendors, last-mile providers, and field engineers
• Escalate fiber cuts or infrastructure failures
• Track restoration timelines and ensure service restoration within SLA

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain incident reports, NOC logs, and network outage documentation
• Update ticketing systems with troubleshooting steps and resolution details
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly network performance reports
• Maintain proper documentation of recurring incidents and preventive measures
