Job summary

ZYBISYS CONSULTING SERVICES LLP is seeking an L3 NOC Engineer – Server in Bengaluru. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, virtualization management, and ensuring high availability across Linux, Windows, and VMware environments.

You will drive upgrades, DR activities, automation, and critical escalations to maintain infrastructure stability. Key responsibilities include leading RCA, optimizing VMware setups, performing patching and migrations, and guiding L2 engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter administration.
• Experience with performance tuning and backups.
• Scripting skills (Shell / PowerShell) preferred.
• Ability to lead and guide L2 engineers.

Responsibilities

The role involves advanced troubleshooting,virtualization management, performance optimization, upgrades, DR activities, automation, andhandling critical escalations while ensuring high availability and infrastructure stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and RCA for server, OS, and virtualization issues.
• Manage and optimize Linux, Windows, and VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter)environments.
• Perform upgrades, migrations, patching, and performance tuning.
• Handle clustering, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) activities.
• Manage storage integration, backups, and system performance optimization.
• Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Guide L2 engineers and handle escalations.

Technical Expertise

• Strong expertise in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS).
• Deep understanding of server hardware, storage, RAID, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of backup solutions, DR strategies, and system integration.
• Scripting/automation skills (Shell / PowerShell) preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex server, OS, and virtualization issues.
