Job summary

TKIL is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist in Pune to manage on-premises and cloud environments. You will oversee VMware ESXi/vCenter, Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO, while coordinating backup and DR with Veeam, and supporting MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.

You will also manage Microsoft 365, Azure IaaS/PaaS/SaaS resources, and monitor security and compliance with tools like Palo Alto, Defender, and SentinelOne. Night/weekend support may be required.

Qualifications

• L3+ support experience in VMware ESXi/vCenter, Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and GPO.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and DR planning.
• L3 support for MS SQL Server and Oracle Database basics.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365, Azure IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, and cloud monitoring.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

Infrastructure & Server Management

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi / vCenter at L3 level.
• Administer Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) including roles, clustering, performance tuning.
• Maintain and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity-related services.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Manage Veeam Backup & Replication including jobs, policies, recovery, and optimization.
• Support DR planning, execution, and failover/failback processes.

Database Support

• Provide L3-level support for MS SQL Server (performance tuning, backup/restore, failover).
• Provide support for Oracle Database (basic troubleshooting).

Cloud & Productivity Platforms

• Manage Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, Security & Compliance).
• Administer Azure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS resources including VMs, storage, networking, monitoring, policies.

Networking & Security -

• Knowledge of L1/L2 - level in networking: switching, routing, VLANs, VPN, IP routing.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls security policies, NAT, VPNs, threat prevention.
• Manage endpoint security tools such as Windows Defender & SentinelOne.
• Monitor Cloud system infrastructure metrics (CPU, memory, storage, network).
• Support workloads hosted on Azure, including:
  • Azure VM sizing
  • Premium Storage/Managed Disks
  • Azure Backup for Services & VMs
  • Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for Cloud systems

Security, Compliance & Monitoring

• Monitor systems using tools such as Azure Monitor, vCenter, firewall logs, and endpoint protection reports.
• Maintain security standards, patch management, and alert response.
