Job summary

Atyeti in Mumbai is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our Global End User Computing team. You will assist the Lead Engineer, share knowledge on Nexthink and manage end-user devices and software, focusing on delivering smooth operations across the organisation.

Candidates should have 5+ years in desktop support or engineering, experience with PowerShell, Office/365, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Assists the Lead Engineer in carrying out the required tasks to achieve the teams objectives
• Effectively collaborates & communicates with the Lead Engineer to achieve stakeholder satisfaction
• Share knowledge of the Nexthink platform with other teams to increase their awareness and skills
• Suggest best practices and methods to standardise BAU activities wherever possible
• Remain up to date with the Nexthink platform, leveraging new features where applicable
• Support the direction of the platform as appropriate to meet the needs of M&G

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Knowledge & Skills (Key):

• Experience of Nexthink or equivalent Digital Employee eXperience (DEX) toolset e.g. ControlUp, Systrack, Riverbed etc.
• Self-motivated, with an ability to work both individually and within a highly collaborative team
• Competent with authoring PowerShell scripts
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
• Experience troubleshooting common end user applications e.g. Edge/Chrome, Office 365, Teams.
• Thorough understanding of hands-on support of end user software, hardware, and virtual platforms
• Ability and willingness to lean and adapt in a constantly evolving environment
• Technical documentation and presentation experience

Knowledge and Skills (Desirable)

• Experience with DNS, DFS, (Azure) Active Directory
• Experience with networking technologies
• Experience of SDLC toolset e.g. JIRA
• Experience with tools such as perfmon and Sysinternals Suite to troubleshoot issues
• Experience with desktop management and monitoring tools

Experience:

• Experience of working with global infrastructure and support teams
• Experience at senior level desktop support or engineering
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting within End User Computing
• Experience working in fast paced agile environments and cross functional teams
• At least 5 years relevant work experience

Educational Qualification:

• Preferably should have Technical/Science Graduation degree
• Relevant professional IT qualifications from companies like Microsoft, VMWare and Citrix such as MCP, MCSE, VCP, CCA, ITIL etc.
