• Travel domestically and internationally to identify trends, evaluate new vendors, and attend trade shows to introduce relevant products/features and strengthen market share.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring on-time, within-budget development and quality standards.

We have an exciting opening with one of the leading stationery company for the position of NPD Manager, based in Mumbai.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Lead the ideation, design, and development of paper and non-paper categories, deciding the companys range/collection, formats, number of SKUs, designs, etc., incorporating consumer needs and trends to maintain and enhance company brand & market position.
• 2. Ensure product-market fit by understanding the product & commercial aspect, mapping it in the market, and comparing it to competitors.
• 3. Conduct regular domestic and international travel to identify consumer trends, explore new vendor capabilities, and attend relevant trade shows and industry events. The objective is ultimately to introduce relevant products/features to enhance the brands position and market share.
• 4. Manage the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring products are developed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
