Job summary

Adecco India is seeking a Project Manager – NPD (Product & Packaging) to lead end-to-end new product and packaging development from concept to commercial launch in Gurgaon.

The ideal candidate should have 3–6 years of experience in NPD, vendor management, packaging development, and project coordination, with strong Excel/Sheets and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, Product, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in NPD, product development or project management.
• Experience in D2C, FMCG, nutrition, wellness, beauty or consumer products is preferred.
• Strong vendor management and external manufacturing partner experience.
• Proven ability to identify and onboard new vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end NPD projects from concept to launch.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Manager – NPD (Product & Packaging) to manage end-to-end new product and packaging development from concept to commercial launch.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in NPD, vendor management, packaging development, project management, sourcing and cross-functional coordination. The person should be highly execution-oriented, proactive and comfortable managing multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to launch.
• Coordinate with R&D, Product, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Packaging and Marketing teams.
• Manage product samples, trials, testing, iterations and approvals.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new vendors/manufacturers.
• Develop and maintain a strong vendor network for products and packaging.
• Coordinate with vendors for samples, quotations, specifications, MOQ, costing and lead times.
• Negotiate with vendors on pricing, MOQ, timelines and commercial terms.
• Manage end-to-end packaging development including bottles, jars, pouches, boxes, labels and cartons.
• Coordinate packaging sampling, artwork, testing, revisions and final approvals.
• Track project timelines, milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
• Identify delays and bottlenecks and proactively drive resolution.
• Manage multiple NPD projects simultaneously.
• Support cost optimisation, vendor comparison and commercial feasibility.
• Maintain project trackers and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• 3–6 years of experience in NPD, Product Development, Project Management, Procurement, Packaging Development or Vendor Management.
• Experience in D2C, FMCG, Nutrition, Wellness, Beauty, Food, Personal Care or Consumer Products preferred.
• Strong experience managing vendors and external manufacturing partners.
• Proven experience in new vendor identification and development.
• Strong follow-up, coordination and execution skills.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong project management and organisational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ownership mindset.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets / project tracking skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
