Responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection, development and localization for EV battery pack programs.
• Drive end-to-end NPD from concept to SOP and production ramp-up.
• Manage product costing, BOM costing and cost optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality and Program teams.
• Ensure APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA compliance and quality requirements.
• Oversee manufacturing readiness, pilot builds and validation.
• Mentor Supplier Technical Assistant and Supplier Quality Assistant teams.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and results driven New Product Development (NPD) Head to lead end to end product development initiatives for EV Battery Pack programs. The role will be responsible for driving new product development from concept to production launch while ensuring cost competitiveness, timely execution, supplier development and cross functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier selection, development, localization and supply chain readiness activities.
• Zero based costing for commodity like sheet metal, plastic, electronics, battery pack.
• Lead end to end New Product Development (NPD) activities from concept to SOP.
• Drive project planning, development timelines and product launch execution.
• Prepare and manage product costing, BOM costing and cost optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality and Program teams.
• Ensure APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA and quality requirements are met.
• Support manufacturing readiness, pilot builds, validation and production ramp-up.
• Manage and mentor Supplier Technical Assistant and Supplier Quality Assistant teams.
