Job summary

TCS is hiring for a senior network professional in Bangalore to support and maintain LAN, SD-WAN and WiFi infrastructure. The role covers Juniper switches/routers, Aruba wireless, Fortinet SD-WAN, and firewall administration (Palo Alto/Checkpoint).

The candidate will work with Architects and Service Owners to ensure uptime and security. The position requires 6+ years of experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to train L2/L1 staff while following ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• Supports and maintains LAN, SD-WAN, and WiFi infrastructure.
• Manages and troubleshoots networking equipment including Juniper EX Series switches and routers, and HPE switches.
• Configures and maintains Fortinet SD-WAN (WAN and Firewall) solutions.
• Administers Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls to ensure robust security measures.
• Knowledge in Aruba Wireless.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to manage workloads efficiently.
• Act as a supplementary resource to offload operational network support tasks.
• Experience in setting up alert monitoring with existing monitoring tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve network issues independently and meet SLAs.
• Excellent documentation skills; create run books and SOPs.
• Flexible working in 24x7 operations (shifts, on-call).
• Should communicate well with Architects, Service Owners, Business Leaders and other technical teams.
• Team player and ability to train L2 and L1 resources.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes Incident, Problem, Configuration and Change Management (ITIL).
