Job summary

Gif Technologies in Nagpur, India seeks an experienced Network and System Administrator to manage LAN/WAN, servers, security, and user support. You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Active Directory, ensuring uptime and policy compliance.

The role covers system upgrades, backups, audits, and user training. Ideal candidates hold networking certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA) and have strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP knowledge, Windows Server and firewall experience.

Qualifications

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, MCSA, CCNA or similar.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Windows Server, wired and wireless Networking, Firewall, and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure network availability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols and tools.
• Manage IP addressing schemes, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Manage Windows/Linux servers and Active Directory environments.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and backups.
• Monitor system performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures (firewalls, antivirus, access controls).
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for end-users.
• Maintain detailed documentation of systems, procedures, and network topology.
