Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer L3 to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise security infrastructure. You will serve as a subject matter expert, leading complex incidents and guiding project teams through security initiatives.

You will work with Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, and AlgoSec to design and migrate firewalls, optimize policies, configure high availability, and perform risk assessments in collaboration with Security Operations,

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise security infrastructure.
• Strong incident resolution capabilities and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to lead cross-functional security initiatives and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for critical network security incidents and escalations.
• Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions using Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, and AlgoSec.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of firewall, VPN, NAT, routing, and connectivity issues.
• Lead firewall migration, consolidation, and upgrade projects.
• Configure and support High Availability (HA) environments.
• Review, optimize, and maintain firewall security policies and rule bases.
• Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and firewall compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Network, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams on security initiatives.
• Support change management activities and ensure implementation of security best practices.
• Analyze security incidents and recommend remediation measures.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational documentation.
• Participate in major incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
