Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions using Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Firewall technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot physical and virtual appliances to ensure secure network operations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network architecture designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide expert‑level support for complex networking issues related to firewalls, routers, switches, and other infrastructure.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
• Design and enforce security policies, access control lists (ACLs), and NAT rules.
• Monitor and optimize firewall performance; troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Detect and prevent threats using Palo Alto tools (e.g., Threat Prevention, GlobalProtect VPN).
• Investigate and resolve security incidents and breaches.
• Analyze logs using Panorama or Cortex Data Lake for root‑cause analysis.
• Integrate Palo Alto firewalls with SIEM tools and ensure compliance.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and incident reports.
• Stay updated on Palo Alto technologies and share knowledge with teams.
