Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to provide L3 support for critical incidents and to design and manage enterprise security solutions using Check Point, AlgoSec, and other leading tools.

You will troubleshoot complex firewall, VPN, NAT, and routing issues, lead migration and upgrade projects, and ensure secure configurations across HA environments. Collaboration with multiple teams and mentoring junior staff are essential components of this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Electronics or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Network Security Operations and Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Check Point Firewalls and AlgoSec.
• Experience managing large enterprise security environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for critical network security incidents and escalations.
• Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions using Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA, and AlgoSec.

• Collaborate with Security Operations, Network, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams on security initiatives.
• Support change management activities and ensure implementation of security best practices.
• Analyze security incidents and recommend remediation measures.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational documentation.
• Participate in major incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
