Job summary

Appdirs Private Limited is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and secure enterprise network infrastructure across customer and internal environments. You will manage routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, WAN connectivity, and wireless networks while ensuring high availability and performance.

The role includes collaborating with cybersecurity teams, performing firmware upgrades, maintenance, and documenting topology diagrams and SOPs for ongoing reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, VPNs.
• Experience with enterprise networking equipment and protocols.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and internet connectivity.
• Configure and support routing and switching technologies, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and related protocols. Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability using network monitoring tools
• Diagnose and resolve network outages, latency issues, packet loss, and security incidents.
• Configure and maintain firewall policies, network segmentation, IDS/IPS solutions, and access controls.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, hardware replacements, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, inventory records, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement network security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical support during incidents, planned maintenance, and infrastructure projects.
