Job summary

Vlink is seeking an experienced L2 Network Operations Engineer to manage enterprise networking operations and ensure infrastructure availability in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on expertise in LAN/WAN, routing and switching, WLAN, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, and IP addressing, with F5 BIG-IP LTM and load-balancing troubleshooting experience being essential. Familiarity with VMware SD-WAN Orchestrator and monitoring tools is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise networking and L2 network operations.
• Hands-on with LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and wireless.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and load-balancing troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with VMware SD-WAN Orchestrator is highly desirable.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as ThousandEyes, Cisco Catalyst Center, Datadog, SevOne, or equivalent.
• CCNA is preferred; CCNP is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle L2 incidents, service requests, and major incident escalations.
• Root cause analysis (RCA) and adherence to SLAs.
• Network changes, software upgrades, and configuration validation.
• Coordinate with L1/L3 teams, MSPs, ISPs, and vendors.
• Network monitoring, performance analysis, and connectivity troubleshooting.

The candidate will be responsible for network support, troubleshooting, and maintaining infrastructure availability.

Strong hands-on experience in LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and wireless networking is required.

Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing is essential.

Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and load-balancing troubleshooting is required.

Hands-on experience with VMware SD-WAN Orchestrator is highly desirable.

The role involves network monitoring, performance analysis, and connectivity troubleshooting.

Experience with ThousandEyes, Cisco Catalyst Center, Datadog, SevOne, or equivalent tools is preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a 247 rotational shift environment, as applicable.
