Role: Network Operations Automation and Reporting Engineer

Position Type: Permanent
Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad (Work from office)

Shift Flexibility: Must be open to working in shifts

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and track daily operational issues from identification to closure
• Prepare and publish daily status reports covering:
  1. Open issues / backlog
  2. Progress updates
  3. Risks / blockers
• Ensure all updates are accurate, structured, and ready for audit/review
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across multiple data sources
• Analyze issues using data correlation and structured troubleshooting
• Coordinate with technical teams to drive timely resolution
• Maintain clear and consistent documentation of findings and actions
• Own end-to-end daily reporting process
• Generate reports using Excel / dashboards including:
  1. Issue status
  2. Aging / SLA tracking
  3. Trend analysis (daily/weekly)
• Ensure reporting is:
  1. Consistent (same format daily)
  2. Accurate (no data gaps/mismatches)
  3. Actionable (highlights risks and priorities clearly)
• Communicate updates to stakeholders in a clear, concise, professional format

Technical Skills (Tool-Agnostic)

• Strong Excel / data handling skills (pivot tables, lookups, structured sheets)
• Working knowledge of Python or scripting (for automation of reports/tasks)
• Experience handling multiple datasets / CSV / reports from different sources
• In depth Understanding of network architecture and connectivity
• Good hands-on experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)

Analytical Skills

• Ability to identify data inconsistencies and resolve them logically
• Strong problem-solving mindset with structured approach
• Capability to handle incomplete or conflicting data
• Focus on root cause analysis, not just surface-level fixes

Automation & Process Improvement

• Identify repetitive/manual work and automate wherever possible
