Job summary

Ericsson in Noida, India is seeking an Automated Operations Engineer- NOC Shift Lead to manage a 24x7 NOC environment and ensure service delivery. You will lead the team to meet SLAs, handle escalations, and drive improvements across multiple cross-functional interfaces.

The role requires 3-4 years in telecom network operations, a degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, and preferred ITIL/CCNA/JNCIA/CCIP certifications. Strong English/Hindi communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (required).
• 3-4 years of experience in Telecom Network operations (required).
• ITIL, CCNA, JNCIA, CCIP certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of GSM/CDMA networks and telecom service networks.
• Proficiency in SQL, Perl and PostgreSQL.
• Strong leadership and customer relationship management skills.
• Fluent in English and Hindi, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day NOC operational performance and ensure smooth network operations.
• Lead the team to meet SLAs and KPIs for surveillance and first-level troubleshooting.
• Manage and resolve Trouble Tickets with timely follow-ups per MSTOP.
• Drive performance reviews and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Interface with cross-functional teams including NPI, NPO, Optimization, SRF, Field Ops, and Support.
• Ensure new node integrations follow standardized processes.
• Publish KPI and SLA reports to MSIP, customers, and stakeholders.
• Forecast manpower requirements and manage team capacity.
• Conduct Performance Appraisals and contribute to Balanced Scorecard.
• Maintain team morale, manage attrition, and support competence development.
• Report security breach incidents and suggest corrective measures.

The Skills You Bring

• Technical: GSM CDMA knowledge, Telecom Service Networks, SQL, Perl, PostgreSQL
• Leadership: People management, customer relationship management, strong interpersonal skills
